I’m a Senior UX/UI Designer, and over my career, I’ve designed more than 20 different app experiences. From gaming apps, to finance products, to AI tools. I’ve worked on a lot of different digital experiences, but reading apps always felt strange to me.

I’m not the typical person who reads books easily (<crying emoji>).

I love the idea of reading, but I often find it demanding. I get distracted very quickly. Sometimes I’ll start reading, then suddenly switch to playing video games, picking up my guitar, or doing almost anything else.

Taleody means Tale + Melody. It’s built around the idea that reading can feel more immersive, more fluent, and more alive, without becoming an audiobook, and without trying to replace books.
